Hi guys I made a mod for my Alpha trooper so that I can put tactical rails on the pump Action. the only draw back it had was I had to put the Tactical rail on backward so the attachment wouldnt fall off when pumped.
first of all I used the tactical rail from a reflex IX-1. I used a hacksaw to cut it out
Here i am marking the space in beetween where there are screws and other dire bits
make sure you drill in a space beetween the line other wise you'll stuff it up
next i am measuring the tactical rail against the pump so I know where to cut
make sure to mark it with a pencil
cut the tactical rail using a hacksaw along the line
i found some screws in my odd screw box that were just the right size.
first i put my Alpha trooper's pump handle ( I had previously unscrewed it then put it back together without it being on the actual gun) in the vice. I then lined everything up and drilled 4 holes. make sure you drill the holes in the little valleys so that the screws don't get in the way of the attachments. remember, as you drill the hole put the screw in there to keep the tactical rail in place.
finish up by gluing it on ether side with a bit of araldite to strengthen it up
Things to remember:
keep the things attaching the tactical rail to the pump on the sides so that you can still take the pump apart to put it back on.
when attaching the tactical rail make sure the screw on the tactical rail is in so it holds it together.
when taking tacvtical rail attachments off. don't just rip them off.
